Integrated Campaign – Non-Profit Cause Marketing

About the Project

PURPOSE: To inform the public, create awareness and amplify the voice of concerned citizens to help save a national historic treasure threatened by proposed construction.

THE ECLIPSE SOLUTION: Eclipse created a strategic awareness campaign across multiple platforms, including:

  • Development of logo and branding
  • Multi-functional, responsive website – SaveSaltRiverBay.com
  • Social media outreach
  • Email marketing and management
  • Targeted direct mail
  • Flyers, handouts and brochures
  • Radio scripts
  • Public Relations to local and national media outlets
  • T-Shirt Design

Viewers to the website were able to take a virtual tour of the bay, learn about its history, culture, endangered species and natural wonders, review the facts of the proposed construction and its projected impact, and send an online petition to officials.

RESULTS: Although the status of the proposed development is still under review, our launch and implementation of the campaign has been a resounding success.

As of August 2015, 765 online petitions have been filed—sending 29,835 petitions to lawmakers, National Park Service officials and professors. Over 6,000 unique visitors from all over the world visited the website and multiple media outlets, including ecology.com and The Mangrove Action Project, have featured the initiative.
